OPEN HEART SURGERY - GET OUR MOM SURGERY SO SHE COULD ATTEND HER DAUGHTER'S GRADUATION

Hello! I am Jers, eldest daughter of my mom, Misiel, who has been fighting severe Rheumatic Heart Disease for almost a year now.

When she was diagnosed with it and was told 2 of her heart valves are damaged, her first words were "Gagraduate pa ang anak ko" (My daughter is graduating) while shedding tears. Few months after that, I rememver there was a time when we couldnt wake her up and my sister worriedly said "Ma, ga-graduate pa ako" and It's still breaking me to this day. We were able to wake her up that night, it just took time and effort, we thought that was it. From then, I promised to do everything I can to bring her to my sister's college graduation.

If you'll ask me, my mama is a happy mom. She loved joking around, loved talking to us, loved cooking for us, she loved company, doing chores, she loved laughing. And i hate writing all those in the past tense. It's been almost a year since we last saw her smile genuinely out of happiness. And we're still holding on to the promise of seeing it again after her surgery which costs ₱998,000.

For this surgery to be scheduled, we need at least 60% of that quotation. I have been actively emailing and processing government assistance and guarantee letters but Im afraid it would take so much time to get to half of the needed amount. So my desperate move is to hope for this campaign to reach the hearts and the pages of those who have anything to spare to get my mom to surgery.
